A historic business preservation registry was initiated for New York State and I was tasked with coming up with a logo that would be used for storefronts, letterheads, and possible merchandise. The initial inspiration was minimal art deco with a modern twist that could be widely used for businesses of all types. This project went through three rounds with several variations. The final logo as well as early iterations can be seen below.
